Welcome to Suite 2900!

Sundial Software Corporation invites clients and business partners to come visit us at any time, but because we know that it’s not logistically possible for everyone, we are bringing Sundial Software Corporation to you with this "virtual tour".

We are located at 5325 Wall Street on the east side of beautiful Madison, WI. Our office is easily accessible from Interstate 39/94.

Our office tour begins in the reception area:

A single, long hallway connects our offices, meeting spaces, and amenities. Going clockwise; beginning with my office:

Just in case you were wondering about the picture on the wall, and "no" it is not me in the picture:

Then there is our conference room (a.k.a.; "The Chair Graveyard") where we hold all kinds of interesting, and all kinds of not so interesting discussions, presentations, and client-meetings:

This is where the real magic happens:

On to the office of our President, Curtis Clark:

He likes to play with toys:

A staff office:

The office of Chris Sloan:

Guess what his hobby is:

The Custom Software division abode:

More:

Small Business Services (there is no way I am showing you the inside of this room):

Well, okay. Just one:

Or this one (our "data center"):

Wrapping up our tour with the kitchen:

Caffeine and pizza:

On the way out, you might catch a glimpse of our view, high over the east side of town:

Thanks for touring the offices of Sundial Software Corporation. Please feel free to stop by and visit us in-person.

P.S. Absolutely nobody cleaned their desk for the purpose of these photos. ;)

Ironman Wisconsin 2009

However taboo it may be to write about a personal accomplishment on our corporate blog, I am the only one currently blogging here at Sundial, and it will not escape me to take advantage of an opportunity to expose the Sundial Software Corporation brand, and display some gratitude in the process.

Proudly adorning the Sundial Software Corporation logo on Sunday, September 13th, 2009, in Madison, WI, I completed the Ironman Wisconsin triathlon in 13 hours, 56 minutes, and 31 seconds. This race consists of a 2.4-mile swim in Lake Monona, followed by a 112-mile bike race that passes through areas of Madison, Mt. Vernon, Mt. Horeb, and Cross Plains, which is then followed by a full marathon run of 26.2 miles around downtown Madison and the University of Wisconsin campus.

If it was not for Sundial Software Corporation, and its support, among the support I received from friends and family, I don’t think this would have been possible. “Thank you” for allowing me the opportunity to chase my very time-consuming, personal dream of one day becoming an Ironman. Curtis (President and Owner of Sundial Software Corporation) and Robin Clark were even there to cheer me on. Thanks guys!

P.S. I am not done yet. Sorry. ;)

TDS/Google Email

TDS has partnered with Google and is moving email clients over to the Google email platform ("Gmail"). While the email addresses themselves will not change, changes need to be made for uninterrupted service.

For clients using TDS webmail, transition is seemless. Upon logging in, they are guided through the process. Clients using an email client such as Outlook, Outlook Express, or Thunderbird need to make changes for uninterrupted service. Most, if not all of these clients have already made these changes, as the conversions have been taking place for quite some time. Upcoming complications lie with business clients who have their own domain name.

Business clients with a domain name hosted by TDS, using TDS internet service, but hosting their own email server, such as Exchange, need to change the outgoing server name to pop.gmail.com. They also need to login to their TDS email account and enable POP/IMAP forwarding. Clients whose domains are hosted elsewhere, but use TDS internet service are likely using TDS outgoing email servers. These servers are shutting down on September 1, 2009. Their email server will need to be configured to act as its own outgoing mail server to prevent service interruption.

TDS has been sending letters to customers recognized as using their outgoing mail servers, notifying them that actions need to be taken for continued service.

We are contacting our Small Business Services clients to get them switched over, but if you have any questions or have not heard from us yet, please feel free to call the Sundial Small Business Service team at 608.663.8100 x 114.
