Ironman Wisconsin 2009

However taboo it may be to write about a personal accomplishment on our corporate blog, I am the only one currently blogging here at Sundial, and it will not escape me to take advantage of an opportunity to expose the Sundial Software Corporation brand, and display some gratitude in the process.

Proudly adorning the Sundial Software Corporation logo on Sunday, September 13th, 2009, in Madison, WI, I completed the Ironman Wisconsin triathlon in 13 hours, 56 minutes, and 31 seconds. This race consists of a 2.4-mile swim in Lake Monona, followed by a 112-mile bike race that passes through areas of Madison, Mt. Vernon, Mt. Horeb, and Cross Plains, which is then followed by a full marathon run of 26.2 miles around downtown Madison and the University of Wisconsin campus.

If it was not for Sundial Software Corporation, and its support, among the support I received from friends and family, I don’t think this would have been possible. “Thank you” for allowing me the opportunity to chase my very time-consuming, personal dream of one day becoming an Ironman. Curtis (President and Owner of Sundial Software Corporation) and Robin Clark were even there to cheer me on. Thanks guys!

P.S. I am not done yet. Sorry. ;)
